Well it is Sunday, the second Sunday. If I’m not working I wake all that will escort me to THE ROSE BOWL. I was lucky enough this morning to be joined by my husband, my son Jordan and his girlfriend Tali who is a “mini me” of myself. As we entered the gates Tali and I looked at each other and said together “Is your heart pounding?”
I know you junkies are out there know exactly what we mean. It is not only relaxing to look at all the old treasures but also so inspiring. I took some pictures of some vintage wedding items. I would buy them all but I have literally ran out of room…
I hope to start selling some of my treasures found, but need to build up a few more items before I post them on my e-store.
I treated Tali to a partial collection of some Harlequin Romances from the 60′s
We both loved the color combinations on the covers it really inspired me for some new color themes for future events.
If you are ever Los Angeles try to schedule a visit to the Rose Bowl

Mindy, it looks like you had so much fun!! Lucky your husband goes with you. Mine stopped going some years ago. Too early for him!
Looks like you found some treasures. I love the Rose Bowl. Well, I love any flea market. I can totally relate to that “heart-pounding” that you get when you walk in through the entrance!
Your son and his girlfriend are darling. So great that they like the flea market too. Hopefully a wedding in the future…
Take care!
Mindy, that’s why we love you, you’re always so transparent and honest. I admire you for thriving to be the best at what you do, and for being such a grounded and loving woman and mom while working so hard. I love your mommy wishes for wedding bells, that is so sweet! I am almost two years into mommy-hood and already planning a Quinceañera for Sophia.
I had the BEST time yesterday…and the Harlequin romance novels are still making me smile! Also, I’d say that Jordan is a Mindy “mini-me,” too, since all he wanted to do for his birthday was wake up at 6am and go to the Rose Bowl
Hi Monica! Thanks for writing…I really miss you and mikey and I can’t believe I haven’t met sophia…big kiss to all of you and hope to see you soon. Thanks for all your kind words. Can you believe that Jordan is 25!
