Step 1
Lay out your zip ties!
Zip ties can be found in most neighborhood hardware stores and some lumber or lighting stores. We found ours at Home Depot and they were only $4.50 for 100 pieces! They come in an array of colors and lengths. Here is a link to Home Depot’s grand selection. There are so many to choose from!

Step 2
Pull 2 tip ties from the bunch and lay them head to tail. Insert the top of the first into the bottom of the second.

Step 3
Insert the remaining loose end of the first into the opening of the second

Step 4
Cut off the extra plastic hanging from the bottom point and top point of the heart.

Step 5
Pull 2 more zip ties and begin linking the hearts together by placing the first of the next 2 zip ties through the completed heart and then attaching it to the second of the next 2 zip ties by repeating steps 2-4.

Step 6
Close the second heart by inserting the top of the first ties into the opening of the second. Then, again, trim the hanging plastic on the inner point and outer point of the heart.

Step 7
Repeat steps 2-6, continuing to link as many hearts together as you wish

Step 8
Hang your heart garland wherever your heart desires….
